Cleveland Cavaliers swingman Iman Shumpert is known as one of the more humorous, up-beat members of the team. Since joining the Cavs in 2014, “Shump,” as he has came to be known, has endeared himself to fans and teammates alike with his antics, both on and off the court. It seems the executives at Comedy Central have taken notice of Shumpert’s unique sense of humor as well, as they’ve asked him to be a guest on tonight’s episode of ‘@Midnight with Chris Hardwick,’ a late-night Internet-based panel game show.
According to Comedy Central’s official website, Shumpert will be joined at 12:01 a.m. by Kevin Durand (The Strain) and Ginger Gonzaga (Wrecked) to “make jokes about bizarre college courses along with the day’s internet news.”
While it’s true Shumpert has a bit of a comedic persona, he also takes pride in his wardrobe and various hairstyles. We’ll just have to wait and see what the former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket pulls out of his closet for tonight’s appearance on national television.
