The Drew League is continuing to draw some of the best professionals and amateur players to see action in the annual summer tournament. Even celebrities are taking part in the competition, and the most recent one to bring his talents is rapper and actor The Game. He starred in a match over the weekend together with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert, who appeared to be in great form at this point of the summer.

They both didn’t start the game and came in to the gym a little late, but that did not stop them from taking over the action and dominating their opponents. Shumpert, with his more conservative hairdo, played the role of facilitator and showed off his skills as a point guard, dishing out plenty of assists—some of them to The Game.

Iman Shumpert also had his moments to remind everybody that he also owns some serious hops, as he threw down an impressive slam to the delight of the crowd. The Game on the other hand, was lighting it up from downtown as he converted on a number of 3-pointers, which helped their team win, 100-83.

Some of the other NBA stars that already saw action in the Drew League this year are James Harden, Chris Paul, Nick Young, DeMar DeRozan, and Julius Randle, just to name a few. Once the tournament is over, there will only be a few pro-am leagues in the next two months, before training camps open.
