It’s hard to catch a loose moment when you have LeBron James around you. During James’ recent reunion with the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 2016 championship team, Channing Frye got fact-checked by his former teammate over a decade-old celebration that every fan in C-Town remembers to this day.

Frye, who was on the championship roster alongside LeBron on the Cavaliers, recently reunited with his teammates to play golf. The occasion also marked a grand opening for James’ new YouTube channel.

While making a shot on the golf course, Frye referenced LeBron’s passionate post-game interview.

“This is for you, Cleveland,” he said in good spirit. However, the man himself was yards away to correct him on what he exactly said back in the day.

“No, that’s wrong. It’s Cleveland; this is for you,” he then said.

Funny enough, Channing clarified that he hardly had any awareness of the interview after the victory and was going through an emotional outburst.

“I wasn’t paying attention to your damn interview; I was crying in the back,” Frye added.

For those who couldn’t catch the reference, the passionate phrase has its history. Back in 2016, a young LeBron led the Cavaliers to the NBA championship after half a century without a ring.

During his postgame interaction with the on-court reporter, James explained his emotional feelings after the final second.

“I gave everything that I had. I put my heart and my blood and my sweat and my tears into this game. Against all our against all odds, I don’t know why we want to take the hardest role. The man above gives me the hardest role, but there’s nothing to man above doesn’t put in situations that you can’t handle,” he said.

“Cleveland, this is for you!” he added, which went on to become one of his most iconic celebration phrases.
