It’s not everyday a high school team gets to play in an NBA arena, but it’s even less common to finish the game and see the hometown hero ready to warm up before a nationally televised game.

That was the case for Cleveland Central Catholic High School, who edged Garfield Heights by a mere two points before walking back into the court and seeing LeBron James putting up some corner threes before the start of shootaround.

With many players from Central Catholic likely looking up to him and following the Cleveland Cavaliers, it comes as no surprise to see an array of emotions from the kids due to this unexpected treat.

There’s no telling which kids might be inspired by this very moment and maybe making it into the NBA years down the road.
