Greatest NBA Players Straight Out Of High School

USA TODAY Sports

6 – Tracy McGrady

Auburndale High School (first 3 years) / Mount Zion Christian Academy, 9th pick in 1997, Toronto Raptors

Tracy McGrady, during his good years, was among the most dominant forces in the league. He simply had all the physical gifts and talent and these enabled him to win 2 scoring titles and a couple of All NBA first team citation. But before he was all that, T-Mac strutted his stuff at Auburndale High School for three years before eventually transferring to Mount Zion Christian Academy. McGrady averaged 27.5 points, 8.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 2.8 steals during his senior year where he was also named High School Player of the Year by USA Today.
