Deron Williams won't play for Cavs tonight, could be available Wednesday

Tonight, the NBA’s defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:00 p.m. EST inside Quicken Loans Arena.
A lot of Cavaliers fans are wondering when they might see Deron Williams, a three-time NBA All-Star who is expected to sign with the team sometime before Wednesday, wearing a Wine and Gold uniform.
Well, it won’t be tonight. However, this afternoon, Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue suggested that the crafty ball-handler could be available as early as Wednesday night against the Boston Celtics. Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio and Amico Hoops first reported the news.

Williams, a former number three overall selection in the 2005 draft by the Utah Jazz, holds career averages of 16.6 points, 8.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.0 steals in 34.6 minutes per game.
Adding a veteran point guard to the rotation should give the Cavaliers a lot more flexibility with regards to Kyrie Irving‘s workload. For now, we’ll just have to wait patiently for his arrival.
