Rest is extremely valuable in the tough grind that is the NBA regular season and the Cleveland Cavaliers will welcome every moment of break that they can get as they are a team that is set to play in May and June.
A subtle stat was dug up by the analytics gurus of NBA Savant and it showed that the Cavaliers will travel the least miles of all teams next season.
Coincidentally, the defending champion Golden State Warriors will be the most traveled team next season.

Last season, the Cavs were playing their best basketball when given a day of rest. We can make a lot about these numbers, but less time on the road means more hours for the coaching staff to do their homework and, of course, quality rest for the players. That rest along with a full offseason with everyone back could mean that the Cavs reach the 60 regular season win plateau again.
