They said they’ve been saving them for the right time, and it looks like that time is now.

After dropping Game 1 of the NBA Finals to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night, 113-91, the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to bounce back with a victory tonight.

According to the team’s official Twitter account, the Cavs will suit up in their now-famous black jerseys for Game 2 — the same jerseys they wore during their come-from-behind effort in last year’s Finals against the Warriors (Game 5 and 7).

While wearing their sleeved black kits in Game 5 of last season’s Finals, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving recorded 41 points apiece to force a Game 6 back at the Q. Then, Cleveland came into Oracle Arena for Game 7 and again defeated the Warriors to bring home their first NBA Championship while completing the comeback from down 3-1.

Game 2 is scheduled to tip at 8PM EST inside Oracle Arena, with ABC having live broadcast coverage. Will the change in kits be the difference in making the below photos happen again?
