Former NFL great and current FOX Sports 1 analyst Shannon Sharpe is a known supporter of LeBron James. During Monday morning’s episode of Undisputed, Sharpe decided to express his love for James’ game. This was no ordinary expression, though. Sharpe — a man known for his assertive sense of humor and hot takes — showed up to the set wearing James’ jersey… and a goat mask.

“Baaa-aa-aaaa,” Sharpe bleated at the beginning of the segment, mimicking a goat’s call.

“Lord, have mercy,” Skip Bayless said in response. “What is that?”

“I can be one of two things, Skip Bayless,” Sharpe replied, lifting his hand in gest. “Either I can be a centaur, or I can be goat James.

“The goat!” Sharpe cried out, flexing his muscles. “Gaaahhhh!!!”

Sharpe’s excitement is shared by Cavs fans across the globe. Cleveland is currently trailing the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals by a count of two games to one. Prior to Saturday’s 116-86 victory, the Cavs were facing an 0-2 deficit in the series, which led to a lot of scrutiny from the media. Now that Cleveland has cut into the series lead a bit — albeit one game — Sharpe seems to be feeling good.

“Wait a second. I must have missed it,” Bayless said. “Did the Cavs win the championship on Saturday night?”

“Let the man have his time, Skip,” Sharpe replied. “Why are you harassing him?” Me and ol’ goat James had a good ol’ time on Saturday night.”

James logged 38 minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 win, scoring 27 points on 8-12 shooting from the field (3-3 from beyond the arc), 12 assists, five rebounds, two blocks and two steals. And just for the record, the King went 8-10 from the free-throw line.

Though James’ numbers from Game 3 are impressive, it was his teammates who really stepped up. In fact, five guys who are not named LeBron James recorded double-digit figures in the scoring column on Saturday night, including Kyle Korver (14 points on 4-4 3PFG), Kevin Love (13 points and 14 rebounds), George Hill (13 points), J.R. Smith (11 points on 3-4 3PFG) and Tristan Thompson (10 points and seven rebounds).

“Even when things broke down, we just covered for one another,” James told ESPN after Game 3. “We made them make extra passes. We made them make extra dribbles. We were flying around, and I just happened to be one of the guys on the floor that wanted to fly around as well.”

James and the Cavs will be back in action on Monday night, as they’re scheduled to host the Celtics in Game 4 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
