The news of Jordan Clarkson being sent to the Utah Jazz via trade broke during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ starting line up intro during their game against the Atlanta Hawks.
Justin Hayes was in the arena when he discovered the news through his phone. Clarkson sat out and didn’t play.
In exchange for Clarkson, the Cavaliers will get Dante Exum, the fifth overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. The Jazz are looking to bolster their scoring from the bench while the Cavaliers are looking to uproot their veterans.
