Boston Celtics big man Aron Baynes is one big bruiser. So when he decides to punish the rim, not a lot of players have the guts to meet him at the top. However, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is an exception.

Near the five-minute mark of the first quarter in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cavs and Celtics, Baynes received an entry pass from forward Marcus Morris. The Australian center drove hard to the rim only to be met by a royal rejection courtesy of James.

Watch the video below:

The Cavs closed out the quarter in control, leading by 15 points. James had a quiet 12 points on a highly-efficient shooting mark — 4-of-6 from the field and 2-of-2 from 3-point distance. Point guard George Hill had an anomalous quarter himself, scoring 11 points on the strength of a trifecta of long distance makes.

Cleveland spoiled themselves from beyond the arc, hitting 54 percent of their 11 total attempts. On the other hand, Boston was atrocious all over with a 30 percent field goal clip while hitting only 16 percent of their 3-pointers.

The Cavs are playing with their backs against the wall as they badly want to avoid a virtually-insurmountable 3-0 deficit in this series.
