We rarely see Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James exchanging words with an opponent. So whenever the Cavs forward does talk trash, it’s safe to assume that that the tension is pretty serious.

In Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, James and Jaylen Brown got physical while jocking for position in the paint.

Below is a clip as posted by Dime on UPROXX:

One has to hand it to Brown for fighting toe-to-toe against one of the greats. He’s just a second-year man but has shown the tenacity and hunger of a veteran.

This has been the Celtics’ strategy against James. Sooner or later, he’ll use his brute strength to get what he wants on offense and defense. The best way to counter him is simply to put pressure the entire game.

This strategy has been working. In the previous game, James was obviously worn out. Though he admitted that it was just the media who reported that he was tired, it was pretty evident that James was drained.

James, 33-years-old, may finally feel the effects of father time catching up with him. This is the first time in his career that he has shown signs of fatigue. It is understandable. He’s been in the league since he was 18 years old. And he’s played up to the NBA finals for seven-straight years.

It would be great to hear what Brown and James are yapping about. It’s definitely full of explicit words — the roots of which are frustrations coupled with the sheer desire to win.

The series has been great so far. Whoever comes out on top surely deserves it.
