Since joining forces back in 2010 for the Miami Heat, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade’s friendship has been very much publicized especially with the good chemistry they’ve been showing on and off the court. Now that their teammates once again with the Cleveland Cavaliers, they continue to show how familiar they are with each other’s games since the start of the season.
During Thursday’s game between the Cavs and Orlando Magic, James pulled off a no-look behind-the-back pass to the veteran shooting guard who was all alone near the basket for the easy layup. It only goes to show how talented he is as a passer and how sublime the four-time MVP’s court awareness is, as he was able to locate where his good friend was even while facing the opposite direction.
That play drew a large applause from the fans inside Quicken Loans Arena and strengthened their belief that their team could finally return to their winning ways. The Cavs are currently on a four-game losing streak and have also uncharacteristically lost eight of their last 11 outings. This has caused them to fall to third place in the Eastern Conference with a 26-17 record.
If there’s any good news for them at this point, it’s that they still have 39 games left on their schedule which is more than enough for them to make a move for the top seed in the East and end the regular season on a hot streak. With LeBron James leading the way, along with veteran teammates like Wade, it will be very difficult to think they won’t be able to do so as they have proven in the past that they are the team to beat in their conference despite some hiccups along the way.
