The summer of Kevin Love continues.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star’s latest offseason endeavor involved some cliff jumping. The five-time NBA All-Star shared a video on Instagram of his splash landing off the side of a cliff:

Love tagged the location at Phelps Lake, part of the Grand Teton National Park outside of Jackson, Wyoming, and nearby the Snake River.

Love, turning 31 years old at the end of this week, seems not to be perturbed with his name frequently involved in trade rumors. The one-time NBA champion with the Cavs has been a subject of rumors due to his seemingly ill fit with first-year head coach John Beilein. Cleveland is ostensibly getting younger, leaning into a rebuild and developmental phase that would appear not to need Love’s services, thus explaining why Love could be dealt before the league’s deadline by next February.
The power forward signed an extension with the franchise in July 2018, and he’s due to earn north of $28 million during the 2019-20 season. Love is signed through the 2022-23 season, however, making the former Most Improved Player winner a notable name in trade talks.
Last year for the Cavs, Love averaged 17.0 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game in just 22 appearances, shooting 38.5% from the field, 36.1% from 3-point range, and 90.4% from the free-throw line. The 2018-19 season featured Love nursing a left foot injury, which required surgery on his big toe, explaining an absence that stretched until February earlier this year.
