Opening gifts is one of Christmas’ highlights, especially for kids. Some parents, though, like to use that moment as an opportunity to play with their children’s feelings.
A certain Cesar Fernandez posted a video on his Instagram account that documented his son Julian, who is a LeBron James fan, excitedly unwrapping a gift, expecting that what he’d get was something that’s listed No. 1 on his wish list. His excitement turned into disappointment, however, upon taking a peep inside the box, as he saw a Stephen Curry jersey in there. You could actually pinpoint the second when his heart rips in half.
This story would end well, of course. The young fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers star discovered that his parents was just messing with him, and upon inspecting the Curry uniform, he found out that a LeBron James uniform was just tucked inside the Golden State Warriors guard’s threads.

The Cavs weren’t able to give Julian and their legion of fans the gift they wanted the most on Monday, however, as they suffered a loss at the hands of their nemeses Warriors, 99-92.
Nevertheless, it’s a Christmas to remember for Julian and his family, mostly because they’re going viral now.
