The much-awaited matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers has so far been delivering the fireworks basketball fans expected to see from this powder-keg showdown. In the first half alone, LeBron James already had a couple of highlight dunks and a block on Kevin Durant, while Stephen Curry had a sick step-back jumper while guarded by James. Just before the buzzer sounded at the end of the second quarter, Dwyane Wade and Jeff Green joined chipped in their contribution for this highlight factory of a game by teaming up for a spectacular defense-to-offense sequence.

Although Dwyane Wade has been relegated to the bench this season, nothing says he has completely embraced that reduced role than making plays like that. Wade has always been a sticky perimeter defender, who is also smart in reading opposing team’s offensive setups. Jeff Green, on the other hand, is a versatile player who brings plenty of things to the table. His arsenal obviously includes catching passes midair and dunking the leather with authority.

With Wade leading the Cavs’ second unit, Cleveland enjoys a rich bench production this season. In fact, the Cavs are fifth in the NBA in bench points with 41.1 per game.

If things go according to what the betting odds suggest, the Warriors and the Cavaliers are on their way to meeting for the fourth time in a row in the NBA Finals this year. Wade and Green are expected by the Cavs to play big roles in trying to take the crown they lost last year to Golden State back in Cleveland.
