Cleveland Cavaliers forward Channing Frye is known for his humorous antics — both on and off the court. On Thursday, the former Arizona Wildcat decided to have a little fun with Cavs rookie Collin Sexton.

In a video posted to his Instagram account, Frye dropped in on Sexton to ask him which airline he recently used.

“Collin, what airline did you take?” Frye cheekily asked Sexton, who was seated poolside.

Sexton immediately flashed a big smile, motioned for Frye to stop filming, and shied away from an answer.

“That boy got on Spirit Airlines,” Frye said.

In their own words, Spirit Airlines is an “ultra-low-cost air carrier.” It seems Frye was giving Sexton a hard time for choosing to fly with that particular company.

The Cavs selected Sexton, now 19 years of age, with the No. 8 pick in this year’s draft. Without a doubt, fans of the team are excited to have him on the team — for good reason.

In 33 appearances with the Alabama Crimson Tide last season, Sexton racked up averages of 19.2 points on 44.7 percent shooting from the field (33.6 percent from beyond the arc), 3.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in 29.9 minutes per outing.

Most Cavs fans love Frye’s personality. Simply put, he’s a good person, but he also likes to have a little fun with his teammates at times. It’s nice to see these two hamming it up already, and perhaps at some point Sexton will upgrade his airline choices.
