According to the latest report, top 2018 NBA Draft prospect Trae Young had a secret workout with the Cleveland Cavs over the weekend.

This news was presented to the world via the mean streets of Twitter by way of ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.

Trae Young is certainly one of the most polarizing players in all of the 2018 NBA Draft. While he led the entire nation in both scoring and assists during his lone season with the Oklahoma Sooners, there are plenty of questions about his athleticism and ability to translate at the next-level.

In 32 appearances with the Sooners last season, the prolific guard turned in averages of 27.4 points on 42 percent shooting from the field  and 36 percent from beyond the arc, 8.7 assists, 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 steals.

Young has made news this week for other, as fun reasons.

As a guest on The Dan Patrick Show, asking how he’d do in a shooting contest against two of the league’s best sharpshooters in Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, Young showed his confidence.

“It’d be a battle, but I feel like I’d come out with the win,” Young replied with a smile. “I have a lot of respect for guys like Steph and Klay. I respect their games, but I definitely have a lot of confidence in myself.”

If nothing else, he won’t fail because he lacks confidence.
