LeBron James is having one of his best seasons ever and is willing to the Cleveland Cavaliers to victories at this point, and even he believes he is playing some of the best basketball of his career.

After the Cavaliers’ latest victory over the Denver Nuggets James told Cassidy Hubbarth of ESPN that he is playing at an all-time high.

“Probably at an all-time high, Just because of my body, my mind, the way I go out and approach the game. Just the grace of God giving me the ability to do this. I’m blessed and I never take it for granted.”‘

With LeBron playing some of the best basketball of his career, it’s really no surprise that some sources believe LeBron will play until he is at least 40, which would mean at least six more years of NBA Basketball.

In the latest write-up by Ramona Shelburne for ESPN she talked about the idea.

“Those are the types of questions James will be weighing this summer. Sources close to James say they can see him playing until he’s 40 years old. If he’s able to do that, it would theoretically give him enough time to catch all-time greats like Bryant and Johnson, who each have five NBA titles (all with the Lakers). Michael Jordan remains a more distant target with six titles.”

Although LeBron has always said he and Jordan will be different and he is happy no matter where people see him, inside he wants to win a few more championships and at least climb into a tie of the likes of Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan.

But for now, LeBron isn’t focused on how long he will play, right now he is focused on this year and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He still believes this team has a shot to win the championship this year, and for now that is what he is playing for.
