The woes for the Cleveland Cavaliers continued with their disappointing loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. Fortunately, the Cavs can get back on track with their showdown against the rival Golden State Warriors at home.

Furthermore, the Cavs will welcome star point guard Isaiah Thomas back to the lineup after sitting out against the Pacers. According to Nikki Goel of ClutchPoints, head coach Isaiah Thomas is looking forward to Thomas bringing his scoring touch against the Warriors:

Ty Lue on what Isaiah Thomas will bring against the Warriors: “He’ll attack. He’s got the ability to score.”
Despite Lue’s optimism regarding Thomas’ potent scoring ability, he has struggled to find his rhythm as of late. The two-time All-Star has shot just 5-of-26 from the field over the last two games prior to his absence in Indiana.  However, it should be noted that the Cavs as a whole struggled through their two worst losses of the 2017-18 NBA season during that span as well.
There is no denying that Thomas brings another dynamic to the Cleveland offense that it simply did not have early on in the year. Regardless, he is clearly going to need more time to get assimilated after averaging just 12.3 points per game on 35.3 percent shooting from the field and 26.1 percent from the three-point line in the four games since making his debut.
Needless to say, the Cavs will need all the help they can get with the Warriors recently welcoming back superstar point guard Steph Curry. While it has been a rough stretch lately, a revenge win over Golden State will surely pay huge dividends at this time.
