Cleveland Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue has played alongside the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan. He’s now the coach of LeBron James — possibly the greatest player of his generation. Recently, Lue shared his thoughts on what makes the Cavs superstar different from the three other NBA greats.

As reported by Nikki Goel of ClutchPoints, Lue said:

Lue noted before that James, Bryant, and Jordan both want the ball in the clutch. Lue observed that they want to take the last shot:

“They want the ball. They want to will their team to a win.”

When he was still new to the team, Kyle Korver was surprised to see James’ tireless work ethic. Per David Zavac of Fear the Sword:

I’ve been really impressed with, and it starts with, LeBron, and just how much he works on his body … that dude lifts weights like twice a day! It’s unbelievable to me to have that kind of energy and have as many minutes

Also, despite his stature in the NBA, Korver noted that James was still receptive to his shooting tips.

“He made free throws before me. Working with technique and free throws is just something I enjoy. He’s really receptive, he’s really open to things that I’ve had to say. It takes time. You just gotta trust it, shoot the ball a little higher, let it come off his hand a little stronger. Just tinkering with a couple mechanics, see what feels comfortable to him.”
