In the midst of all the trade rumors swirling around in the Cleveland Cavaliers camp, Cavs big man Tristan Thompson has recently come out with a bold statement saying that in his mind, no one in the entire NBA is exempt from being traded. That is, of course, if you’re either LeBron James or Stephen Curry.

The Cavs have just traded sharpshooter Kyle Korver to the Utah Jazz, and if the murmurs are true, then this is not going to be the last move the Cleveland front office will be sanctioning prior to the trade deadline. This recent deal, perhaps, is what prompted Thompson to comment on the nature of the league when it comes to moving players around.

“At the end of the day it’s a business and anyone can get moved,” Thompson said, via Joe Vardon of The Athletic. “If the trade is right and it adds up, then someone can get moved unless you have a no-trade clause. I don’t know who has that.”

Thompson actually makes a lot of sense here. He went on to share his belief in the notion that there are only two guys in the entire league that are considered to be untouchable.

“So the only two guys that are safe in the NBA are Bron and Steph Curry,” added Thompson. “Everyone else, you can be moved. All you can do is control what you can control. Come in, play hard every day, do your job and don’t get in trouble.”

Thompson has had somewhat of a resurgence this season for the Cavs, but his future with the team is still up in the air. The same can probably be said about almost all the other members of the Cavs, as the their front office look all but set to completely blow up the team in the very near future.
