Cavs’ Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr. close to returning
The Cleveland Cavaliers have less than a month to get right for the NBA postseason, but they took their first big step towards that on Monday night. After missing over a month of action, Cavs’ star forward Kevin Love returns against the Milwaukee Bucks on a minutes restriction, per Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.

According to Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal, the Cavs are also close to getting to getting center Tristan Thompson and Larry Nance Jr. back as well.

Tristan Thompson has only appeared in 42 games this season, averaging 6.3 points, and 6.5 rebounds per game in 21.4 minutes of action. Larry Nance Jr. is averaging 11.6 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game with the Cavs.
Unfortunately for the Cavs, they still need to get guard Rodney Hood back from a nagging back injury as well as Cedi Osman back from a hip flexor strain. On top of that, head coach Tyronn Lue has taken a leave of absence as he deals with an illness that’s been forcing him out of some games over the last few months of the season.
