During Sunday’s season finale of Keeping up with the Kardashians, reality television star and fashion designer Khloe Kardashian learned the sex of her baby with Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson. Though she was admittedly hoping for a boy, Khloe and Tristan have been blessed with a girl.

During the episode, Khloe’s doctor broke the news to her younger sister, Kylie Jenner, who recently welcomed her first child –a daughter named Stormi. Kylie then called Khloe for the big reveal.

Khloe sent out a heartfelt tweet to express her excitement on Sunday.

β€œGod gives us what we need! His timing is never wrong! my hormones were IN RARE FORM for that news,” Khloe wrote in her message. β€œI am now so excited my daughter will have forever best friends with Chicago and Stormi!! God is great!!! Thank you Lord for our princess.”

Kim Kardashian West sent out this congratulatory tweet for her sister.

Thompson, now 26 years of age, suffered a sprained right ankle in Saturday night’s 126-117 loss to the Nuggets. According to multiple reports, the 6-10 rebounding machine will be sidelined for β€œseveral games.”

Via ESPN’s Dave McMenamin:

Thompson stepped on the heel of a Nuggets player in the first half on Saturday. He went on to play 13 minutes in the second half β€” finishing the game with 12 points and seven rebounds β€” but experienced β€œsignificant swelling” overnight, according to the team.

The Cavs will close out their five-game home stand with a matchup against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night. Tip-off inside Quicken Loans Arena is set for 7:00 p.m. EST with FOX Sports Ohio and FOX Sports Detroit having live broadcast coverage.
