No Donovan Mitchell? No problem. The Cleveland Cavaliers dragged the Boston Celtics right back to the ground. Dean Wade exploded with Jarrett Allen and Darius Garland also putting up insane performances to get away with the one-point win over the best team in the league. No one enjoyed the Cavs win more than the legendary brothers sitting courtside, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce.

Supporting the third-ranked team in the Eastern Conference is one thing, seeing them trample over a 10-game winning streak by the Celtics is another. Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce were hyped when the final buzzer sounded. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end even had some words when the Cavs pulled off the massive upset.

“And, that’s a wrap from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. You already know, baby. We’re getting the dub! I think we’re ready for playoffs, baby. Let’s turn this thing up, Cleveland! Cleveland forever, baby!” Travis exclaimed.

The two were honored as Cavs fans through a bobblehead night. Every person who attended the game got figurines of the brothers. As a long-time member of the Cavs faithful from Cleveland Heights, Jason also got a framed jersey with his number on it.

Their presence and support might have been a difference maker, along with the Celtics sagging off on defense. Dean Wade knocked down eight of his 11 field goal attempts for 23 points. All of this magic was done in just 21 minutes as he also grabbed eight rebounds and an assist while he was at it.

Jarrett Allen also followed suit by recording a double-double with 21 points along with 12 rebounds.  Darius Garland also made the most out of his 36 minutes on the floor. He notched 16 points and also dished out 11 dimes. Isaac Okoro and Caris LeVert also combined for 26 points to propel the Cavs into a much-needed win.

This victory is huge for the squad, not just because it’s a statement about how they stack up against the best teams, but also because of how it affects the standings. The Cavs are inching closer to usurping the Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference standings. If this gives them the momentum they need, they might end up with the second seed come the postseason.
