When was the last time you ever thought of Orlando Magic shooting guard Terrence Ross? It’s possible that he has never crossed your mind before other than that one time when he ate The Manimal alive or back when he won the 2013 Slam Dunk Contest. In any case, it’s safe to say that Ross belongs way back in our collective basketball consciousness – until now.

The man deserves our attention simply because he’s probably the only person on the face of this planet who believes that the Cleveland Cavaliers will not just beat the Golden State Warriors in the 2018 NBA Finals, but win the series via a sweep as well.

Terrence Ross did not stop right there. He went on to post some more hilarious series predictions before insisting again on his belief that LeBron James and company will 4-0 the defending NBA champions.

Ross then settled with him wondering where James’ place would be in the pantheon of basketball gods if he does indeed lead the Cavs to an unlikely title win against the Warriors.

The Cavaliers enter Game 1 of the NBA Finals this Thursday as massive underdogs. Most experts and fans alike think that Golden State trumping Cleveland for the second year in a row is a foregone conclusion, a low-hanging fruit of a prediction.

Cleveland, however, has the best player in the sport in James, who can single-handedly make the series interesting.
