The Cleveland Cavaliers are getting their butts kicked on Friday night in one of the biggest games of the year. In the first half against the Philadelphia 76ers, the Cavs gave up a whopping 78 points and trailed by as many as 30 points (48-78) late in the first half before Cleveland closed the half out on a 7-0 run.

Already without guards George Hill and Jose Calderon, the Cavs were dealt another significant albeit potentially minor injury hit. Guard Rodney Hood is being held out of the second half of tonight’s game against the Sixers with a Achilles soreness, per Jason Lloyd of The Athletic.

Hood finished with four points, two rebounds, and one assist on 1-3 shooting in 12 minutes of action.

With just over four minutes left in the third quarter, the Cavs have trimmed the 30-point Sixers’ lead to just eight at 83-91.
