Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has established himself as one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA. Over the course of his illustrious career, the King has racked up three championship titles, four MVP nods, and 13 All Star selections. Now, as James enters his 15th season, the NBA Players Association has decided to recognize the Akron, Ohio native with a unique decoration: “The Player You Secretly Wish Was On Your Team Award.”
“You bust your butt everyday,” Dwyane Wade said of James’ dedication. “You come to the gym, you’re the first one here, and you’re the last one to leave.”
“Passing, dunks, athleticism,” Chris Paul noted, crediting James’ on-court skills. “The fact that he’s been doing it for 14 years (is amazing).”
Being selected for this award by fellow NBA players is truly an honor. It simply shows that his game, even now, is dominant. And besides, who wouldn’t want LeBron James on their team?
