Take a breath Cleveland Cavaliers fans, the craziest off season in recent memory is nearly over. As everyone knows, the former world champions shockingly traded away their dynamic point guard Kyrie Irving for a whopping package from Eastern Conference rival Boston Celtics, which included scoring machine Isaiah Thomas and defensive wing Jae Crowder in a blockbuster deal that rocked the league.

It has truly been a wild off season, and rumors are still flying around the Cavs aren’t done just yet, as they are still entertaining offers to improve their roster with the new trade-able assets they acquired. In just 45 days, the craziness will be over and the organization can get back to what they have been striving for the past three years – an NBA championship. Already capturing one in 2016, the Wine and Gold are still in search of another NBA title for Northeast Ohio.

At the heart of it all will again be LeBron James, who still remains the undisputed best player in the world. As long as the Cavaliers have number 23 on their roster, they have a chance to compete for a ring. Entering his 15th season, James is astonishingly showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. Fresh off another historic NBA Finals, James became the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double on the NBA’s biggest stage.

James is 32 years of age, and at this stage of his career, the four-time MVP wasn’t supposed to still be athletic machine we see on a nightly basis. The kid from Akron is still living above the rim, and chasing people down in what seems like a herculean abundance of energy on both ends.

Arenas all over the country remain sold out to get a glimpse of the King, and his highlight reel plays are still leaving fans in awe of what they’ve just witnessed. Still at the top of the NBA mountain, the three-time champion took to his personal Twitter account to let the world know he has plenty of highlights left in the tank, and will add to his countless incredible NBA archives soon enough.

This is music to all true NBA fans, as James is a once in a lifetime talent we have the pleasure of seeing on the NBA hardwood night in, night out. It’s been a privilege to watch this period of sustained greatness from an individual player, who has amassed over fifty thousand minutes so far in his career and still going as strong as ever.

The new NBA season is just around the corner, and the King can’t wait to put on a show yet again.
