This past Sunday marked the 14-year anniversary since LeBron James made his NBA debut for the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Following the loss to the New York Knicks, the 32-year-old had a witty response when asked about his thoughts about what that means to him.

James had a strong showing in his first official NBA game as he scored 25 points on 12-of-20 shooting from the field with nine assists, six rebounds, and four steals in the loss to the Sacramento Kings. This performance does best his outing against the Knicks where he had 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field with seven assists, 10 rebounds, and a pair of steals.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers are off to a rough start to the 2017-18 season holding a 3-4 record while dropping four out of the last five games. It has created some sense of concern about the direction of the team after falling to the likes of the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks, who both finished near the bottom of the league in the standings last season.

That said, this shouldn’t overshadow the type of career James has put together that has more than met the high level of expectations that were set before him entering the NBA. He has earned numerous accolades such as 13 All-Star game selections, four NBA MVP awards,  three NBA titles, three NBA Finals MVP awards, and 13 All-NBA teams nods just to name a few.
