A few minutes following the Boston Celtics’ win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, LeBron James sent out an Instagram post of the Arthur first meme that caught fire over social media.

It immediately became the center of conversation as to what the exact message James was trying to subtly convey with his post. During a recent interview with Adam Figman of Slam Magazine, James addressed the situation and scrutiny around it.

James may not read into how his posts on social media are perceived by others, they do carry much weight given who he is and what it says about his mindset in that moment the photo or message was sent out. There are always going to be those who jump to quick conclusions regardless of what he posts on his social media accounts.

This is something that James clearly recognizes and may be playing coy when asked about this exact situation. It is simply hard to ignore the fact that this Instagram post in question came just a mere few minutes after the Celtics led by his former teammate Kyrie Irving beat the Hawks.

What this does more than anything else only further fuels the chatter around his current standing with Irving.
