The milestones keep on coming for The King. In his latest statistical feat, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James entered the top 10 all-time list for career field goals made during Thursday’s road game against the Atlanta Hawks.

James displaced Denver Nuggets legend Alex English for tenth on the list in the first half of the Atlanta game, going 5-of-5 from the field just before halftime.

Just a notch ahead of James is former Houston Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon, who finished his illustrious NBA career having buried 10,749 field goals. There’s a ton of games left for the Cavaliers, so there’s a good chance James will pass by The Dream before this season ends. In fact, James could be a good bet too to climb up to the seventh place of the list, currently held by Elvin Hayes, who authored 10, 976 field goals.

James, who entered the tilt with Atlanta averaging 28.2 points per game on a career-high 58 percent shooting from the floor, had 736 field goals made last season. Prior to that, he had 737.

James will continue piling up on his stats this coming Saturday when the Cavaliers welcome the Memphis Grizzlies at home.
