LeBron James making the NBA Top 75 list is no surprise whatsoever. What should catch the attention of Cavs fans everywhere is how the four-time NBA champ gave an epic shoutout to his hometown after officially being dubbed by the NBA as one of the greatest players of all time.

LeBron quickly took to Twitter as he dedicated this recent honor to the Cavs and the city of Cleveland:

There is little doubt as to LeBron’s status as the greatest player to ever dawn a Cavs jersey. He may now be repping the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers, but we all know deep down that his first love has and always will be Cleveland.

LeBron and his Lakers have been struggling quite mightly of late. After an embarrassing 0-6 preseason run, James and Co. lost their first two regular-season games before finally getting a W on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Cavs, on the other hand, are off to a 1-2 start to the new season. Cleveland logged their first victory of the campaign on Friday against the Indiana Pacers behind an impressive performance by rookie Evan Mobley. The Cavs’ third overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft has been outstanding thus far and at this point, even LeBron would be proud of Mobley’s hot start.
