Cavs superstar LeBron James started being active again on social media over the weekend, and it seems that every one of his posts has some type of hidden message in it.
His latest post was on his Instagram story and it appears that James is sitting poolside and he captions the photo “tranquility while staying woke.”
That might be the perfect caption for exactly what James is going through. According to the Urban Dictionary, stay woke is defined as:
Deriving from “stay awake,” to stay woke is to keep informed of the sh*tstorm going on around you in times of turmoil and conflict, specifically on occasions when the media is being heavily filtered.
That is exactly what the media has created around this situation for LeBron James. For all anyone knows James might already have made his decision, but depending on who is talking, everyone has a different idea of what exactly is going to happen July 1st.
It’s clear from his Instagram post, even with everything going on around him, James is trying to find some peace as he gears up for another career-changing decision.
Last season James said don’t trust anything unless it comes out of his mouth, and here is what he has said about the decision.
“My family. That’s all that matters,” James told cleveland.com. “I want to continue to win at the highest level, because I know I can still do it as an individual, and then my family. My family is what’s most important to me, more than anything.”
“We make joint decisions all together, all the time. Once we get to it, my agent and my team we will all tackle it the right way but my family plays a big part in it. And winning.”
