Cleveland Cavaliers All-Star power forward Kevin Love is back.

The Cavs take on the Washington Wizards on Friday in the nation’s capital, and Kevin Love will play.

Love has been out since October after suffering a toe injury which required surgery. The big man has only played in four games this season for Cleveland.

In the four games he played in before getting hurt, Kevin Love was averaging 19.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest while shooting 32.3 percent from the field, 29.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.8 percent from the free-throw line.

Love signed a four-year, $120 million extension with the Cavs last summer after LeBron James left Cleveland to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers in free agency. Cleveland enters Friday with a record of 11-43, 14th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Love’s name was mentioned in a bevy of trade rumors after he became eligible to be traded, but general manager Koby Altman has said all along he wants Love on the team to be a good mentor and leader for the young guys on the roster.

Kevin Love will definitely be on a minutes restriction on Friday since he’s been out for so long, but Cleveland fans are just happy to see him healthy and back on the floor.
