Cavs news: Kevin Love stars in another Banana Republic Ad

Kevin Love banana Republic

Since partnering up a few years back, Kevin Love has been posting photos of himself wearing products from Banana Republic. Last year, in one of the ads, the duo seemed to have taken some subtly funny jabs at the Golden State Warriors for blowing a 3-1 series lead in the 2016 NBA Finals. While it may have been unintentional, it was a solid troll job on nonetheless.

Love and his sponsor recently posted another ad on Twitter. This time, however, they made sure not to include any subtle digs at the Warriors.

Following the 2016 NBA Finals, the 3-1 jokes poured in endlessly at the demise of the Warriors. Love seemingly got in on the act with a subtle, yet clear message during an ad he shot not too long ago that shows him posing in front of the San Fransisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Prior to that, he even introduced a new 3-in-1 parka.

What makes this even more interesting is the fact that a company based in San Fransisco would choose to repeatedly use Love for these shoots over all the other models at their disposal. Regardless, they make for good timeline material.

It has been a whirlwind offseason for Love after hearing his name thrown into several trade discussions. However, it seems he will remain with the Cavaliers for the 2017-18 NBA season.
