The Cleveland Cavaliers are about to start another phase. With LeBron James having packed his bags to join the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cavs are now looking for a fresh identity, but not for a new star, as they have big man Kevin Love to serve that role.

Speaking of a new chapter, Love took to Instagram on Monday and hilariously reminded his followers how far he’s gone in terms of physical transformation, calling himself “fat booooooiii” while staring at one of his images coating the walls of the ironically named Kevin Love Athletic Performance Center in UCLA (h/t Tomer Azarly).

Love maybe a little bit hard on himself there, as he was never a rotund guy at any point during his college career, though, he’s not the perfect role model for fitness either.

Back in the day, Love was one of the best big men not only in the Pac-12, but in all of college basketball during his one-year stint at UCLA. Together with Russell Westbrook, Darren Collison, and Luc Mbah a Moute, Love led the Bruins all the way into the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament, where they fell prey to the Memphis Tigers, who were spearheaded by one dude named Derrick Rose.

Love has clearly slimmed down since his UCLA days, as he no longer looks like the doughy guy lumbering around the court he used to be. Now, he’s just a self-deprecating guy with millions in his bank account.
