The Cleveland Cavaliers had a big game Wednesday night in more than one way. LeBron James set out to prove once again that he is the King, with the task of taking down the Toronto Raptors who will probably be the biggest threat in the East to the Cavs in the postseason.

Not only were the Cavs without five players on the roster, but it was the team’s second game without Tyron Lue, who took a leave of absence for health reasons.

James scored a total of 35 points along with 17 rebounds. Kevin Love, who is finding his own groove since returning from injury, stepped on the court and achieved a milestone which came off an assist from James.

Toronto faded late in the second half after a furious Cavs comeback, which included an assist from James who drove down the lane and swung the ball to Love who sealed his 1,000th career 3-pointer before the buzzer sounded with the Cavs winning, 132-129.

After the game, Love celebrated his new milestone and credited his teammate in being apart of something special.

There is mutual respect on both sides as the King tweeted out to Love last month to hurry up and return because he knows he can trust him on the court.

A major accomplishment for Love last night and a confidence booster taking down the team with the best record in the east, even if the Cavs were short-handed. Such an eventful night in Cleveland and they can only hope to carry the momentum toward their next game which is against the lowly Phoenix Suns.
