Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love is listed as questionable against the Detroit Pistons on Monday due to a sore back.

Per Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com, Love will be added to the Cavs’ injured list. He’ll join Larry Nance Jr., Tristan Thompson & Matthew Dellavedova. To recall, Love landed on his back in their 121-116 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.

The five-time All-Star has been nothing but stellar in the past few outings. In four of his last six games, the 30-year-old has logged a double-double. Slowly and surely, Love is returning to his old form. To recall, he missed the majority of the season recovering from big toe surgery. Through 16 games, he’s averaging 18.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game across 27.4 minutes.

Without Love, Croatian center Ante Zizic is likely to see an extended role. More production will be also be expected from second-year man Cedi Osman.

The wine and gold have lost three straight games and have a 17-53 record. As expected, the team has had a hard time recouping from the loss of LeBron James last summer.

With 12 games remaining in the season, they are looking to finish off the season strong. They seem to have a stable future in Collin Sexton. Come draft night, they have a chance to added more young pieces and get back to their winning ways.
