Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue broke the news to members of the media on Saturday afternoon at the team’s practice. They’ll be heading out to Boston later tonight and preparing for Sunday night’s Game 7 at the TD Garden.
According to Lue, Love will travel with the team, so it’s likely that he’ll be put through a series of tests and evaluations to see if he’ll be ready to go for tomorrow night’s game.
Love suffered the injury on a scary collision with Celtics forward Jayson Tatum, and immediately went down to the ground. He finished the game with no points and four rebounds in just five minutes of action.
Here are some of the tests Love would have to pass in the next day in order to be available for Sunday’s game.
