Kevin Love just couldn’t catch a break. After playing an instrumental part in sweeping the Toronto Raptors, Love — during a postgame interview — had something really weird in his drink.
As posted by Jalen & Jacoby of ESPN, Love was having a drink while waiting for questions from the media. All of a sudden, his face changed from an athlete who got a dose of sweet victory, to a someone who got a taste of bitter defeat. Below is the clip:
Love even looked behind probably to ask for help from the staff. A quick browse at the comments section reveal some guesses to the answer: What was in Kevin Love’s drink? A good chunk of them said it was “J.R.’s henny,” referring of course to J.R. Smith and his favorite drink.
Whatever it was, hopefully, it doesn’t mess up Love’s stomach. He showed elite-level form in Game 4 against the Raptors — the type of Love that we saw in Minnesota.
Love, along with the rest of the Cavaliers have ample time to get some well-deserved rest. They are just waiting for the winner of the Boston Celtics-Philadelphia 76ers match up.
