After Sunday evening’s 121-104 victory over the visiting Detroit Pistons, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dwyane Wade decided to mention several of his teammates in an uplifting tweet. However, for unbeknownst reasons, the three-time champion simply wrote “Jose” for Jose Calderon.

Is it possible that Wade didn’t know Calderon’s Twitter handle? In any event, Jose saw the tweet and decided to respond with a bit of humor.

Calderon, now 36 years of age, did not play in Sunday’s game. He’s performed admirably when given the opportunity, though. In his 34 games played for the Cavs this season, the Spanish-born ball-handler has recorded averages of 4.1 points on 49.0 percent shooting from the field (44.8 percent from beyond the arc), 2.1 assists, and 1.5 rebounds.

Wade was excused from Sunday’s game to cope with the death of his long-time friend and agent, Henry Thomas. Cavs general manager Koby Altman and head coach Tyronn Lue have said that Wade can take “as much time as needed” to deal with the loss. According to most reports, Wade could rejoin the team for their upcoming road game against Pistons on Tuesday.

Prior to their current two-game winning streak, the Cavs had lost 10 of 13. Let’s see if they can keep their momentum rolling going forward.

Tuesday night’s game in Detroit is scheduled to tip at 8:00 p.m. EST with TNT and Fox Sports Ohio having live broadcast coverage.
