Fox Sports analyst Chris Broussard is currently the subject of some backlash from former Boston Celtics players, following the commentary he recently made on Skip Bayless’ FS1 show “Undisputed.”

The veteran broadcaster reported that Isaiah Thomas was apparently disliked by some of his teammates, leading to their front office to decide to trade him.

Upon hearing his statement, Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger, both former Celtics, took to their Twitter accounts to fire at Broussard’s report, saying that they’re all not true.

Thomas was shipped to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Kyrie Irving, as the two Eastern Conference powerhouses completed the blockbuster deal on Tuesday. Also sent to the Cleveland Cavaliers were Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic, and an unprotected first round pick in next year’s draft.

Now with the Cavs, the 5-foot-9 point guard is expected to receive a lot of minutes, and become their undisputed starter despite the presence of Derrick Rose in Cleveland.

If Thomas can show that he can co-exist with his new teammates on and off the court, he will definitely prove Broussard wrong. It could then lead to more success for the Cavs, who have high hopes that the trade they made is enough for them to beat the Golden State Warriors to win their second title in three years.
