Cleveland Cavaliers star center Jarrett Allen has missed the last four games due to an eye injury. The Cavs have fared surprisingly well without their starting center and defensive anchor, as they own a 3-1 record since Allen’s been out. Still, when the Cavaliers visit the Barclays Center on Tuesday night to play Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, and the Brooklyn Nets, every Cavs fan under the sun will surely be dying to know: Is Jarrett Allen playing tonight vs. the Nets?

Jarrett Allen injury status vs. Nets

The Cleveland Cavaliers initially had Allen listed as questionable for Tuesday’s showdown with a right eye contusion, per the NBA’s official injury report. The good news for Cavs fans is that Allen was later removed from the injury report, which means that he should be good to go against the Nets.

No other Cavs player is currently dealing with an injury.

Allen, 24, is in his sixth year in the NBA and third as a member of the Cavaliers franchise. He’s averaging 14.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game across 62 appearances this season (all starts).

The former Texas standout is shooting the ball very efficiently from the field in the 2022-23 campaign, even by his standards — Allen’s current 64.9% field-goal percentage is tied for the second-highest of his pro career.

Expect Tuesday’s matchup between the Nets and Cavaliers to go down to the wire, even with Allen now in the lineup. After all, both teams are fighting for home-court advantage in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs and have a lot to play for. But with regard to the question, Is Jarrett Allen playing tonight vs. the Nets, the answer is yes.
