Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert is best known for his defensive prowess on the basketball court. However, off the court, “Shump,” as he is more commonly known, is an excellent family man.

On Sunday, MTV held their annual Video Music Awards show in Southern California. After walking the red carpet in her Janet Jackson-inspired ensemble, Teyana Taylor, Shumpert’s talented wife, was given the “Best Choreography” Moon Man for her show-stopping role in Kanye West’s “Fade” video from last summer.

As any husband worth his weight in salt would do, Shumpert was in attendance at the ceremony to cheer for his significant other. In fact, Shump, who is known to be a character at times, wore a unique tee shirt in support of Teyana.

Hopefully, this is just the beginning for Teyana, one of the hardest working performers in the entertainment industry. With her husband by her side, it seems the sky is the limit.
