Without a doubt, Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dwyane Wade will go down as one of the best players in NBA history. However, what some fans may not realize is that his son, Zaire, is quickly making a name for himself as well.

Over the weekend, a video clip of Zaire performing a left-handed windmill dunk in front of his friends became an instant hit on Twitter.

After Sunday’s shootaround in California, Dwyane was asked about his son’s video. The three-time champion seemed a bit worried about the extra media attention it created.

“I don’t like it. I don’t like it,” Dwyane Wade said with a smile. “I’m proud of him that he’s worked hard to dunk, but I don’t like it.

“The thing is with kids, it’s cool, it’s fun, but my son, it gets picked up by SportsCenter,” Wade continued. “It puts a bigger bullseye on you. I don’t know, a sophomore, not even playing that much on varsity, are we ready for that bullseye? As a parent, I’m trying to tell him that. So I don’t like it.”

Zaire is 15-years-old and 6-foot-2. To be frank, he’s been one of the top-ranked youth basketball players since he was in the fifth grade. With hard work and dedication, he’ll have a good shot at following in his dad’s footsteps.
