Donovan Mitchell has been in and out of the lineup for the Cleveland Cavaliers of late. At this point, it seems like he’s going to be out again when the Cavs face off against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday.

Donovan Mitchell’s injury status vs. Clippers

The Cavs have listed Mitchell as questionable to play against LA. He’s now missed back-to-back games due to a left groin strain, and it looks like he hasn’t recovered in time from this injury ahead of the Clippers matchup.

Mitchell was able to play through the injury on Tuesday in a loss to the New York Knicks. This was after missing three straight games because of the same issue. The Cavs star ended up sitting out again after the Knicks game, and he is now in danger of being sidelined for a third straight contest.

Kevin Love is also on the injury report for the Cavs. The 34-year-old veteran is questionable as well with a lower back injury, and he too could miss a third straight game on Saturday against the Clippers.

For their part, LA has yet to submit their injury report as of writing. However, they are expected to be relatively healthy with both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard not dealing with injuries of late.

The Clippers are winners of four straight, and the Cavs will struggle to snap this win streak if Mitchell sits out. Cleveland, on the other hand, is in need of a win after dropping four out of their last six games.
