Cleveland Cavaliers guards Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland were both listed as “questionable” on the team’s injury report before the team takes on the the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, according to ESPN Cavs reporter Danny Cunningham.

Darius Garland is listed with a thumb injury, while Donovan Mitchell was added with a groin issue. Neither of them were seen on the floor during Wednesday’s shootaround. This is why it comes as no surprise that both players were downgraded to OUT just before tipoff, per Cavs beat reporter Chris Fedor of cleveland.com.

Mitchell managed to play in the last five games for the Cavaliers, taking starts in a 4-1 stretch that saw wins over the Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Indiana Pacers. He averaged 14.6 points, 3.2 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game as he made his way back from the groin soreness that kept him out of games against the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

Garland hasn’t missed a game since an early-January matchup against the Phoenix Suns. He sat out of three games during late December and early January after he suffered a thumb injury during the fourth quarter of a game against the Pacers. Garland has earned games with 20 points or more in Cleveland’s recent three-game dominant win streak, highlighting the stretch with a lob pass to Mitchell from far beyond the 3-point line.

Both forwards Isaiah Mobley and Dylan Windler are out, according to Right Down Euclid Editor in Chief Evan Dammarell.

Pistons forward Marvin Bagley III and guard Cade Cunningham were the only two players listed on ESPN’s injury report. Cunningham underwent successful surgery to “promote healing” of a left tibial stress fracture, while Bagley underwent surgery to repair a fracture in his right hand.

Cavs fans will likely be able to watch Pistons forward Bojan Bogdanovic, who leads the Pistons in points per game and was the subject of recent Cavs trade rumors.

The Cavs will tip off against the Pistons at 7 p.m. EST on Wednesday in Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse. The game will be broadcasted on Bally Sports Ohio.
