The Cleveland Cavaliers have locked up the No. 4 seed in the East and they will now enter the opening round of the playoffs with home-court advantage. Before that, however, the Cavs still have two games remaining in the regular season, starting with a matchup against the Orlando Magic on Thursday night. Given that they have nothing more to play for, it comes as no surprise that the Cavs have pretty much listed their entire roster on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s clash.

To be fair, it’s technically not their entire team that’s listed on the injury report. They have no less than seven players on there, though, which also happens to include all five of their starters. Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro, Evan Mobley, and Jarrett Allen have all been listed as out for Thursday’s game. Caris LeVert won’t play either, along with Dylan Windler.

It is worth noting that apart from LeVert and Windler, all the other five players listed on the injury report played on Tuesday in a 117-113 win over the Orlando Magic. The injuries to Mitchell (left hand finger sprain), Garland (lower left leg contusion), Allen (right groin strain), Mobley (rest), and Okoro (left knee soreness) do not sound overly concerning, and it seems like the Cavs’ decision to have all of them sit out on Thursday is merely precautionary.

We expect Mitchell, Garland, and the rest of the starters to be ready come playoff time, which at this point, is going to be a mouth-watering first-round clash against the New York Knicks.
