At one point during the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Tuesday outing against the Boston Celtics, the game looked decided with the green team up by 22 points in the fourth quarter. Dean Wade had other ideas though. Going on an impressive shooting barrage, the forward hit five three-pointers to go with a game-winning putback dunk in the final period to lead the Cavs to a miraculous comeback victory.

Wade singlehandedly outscored the entire Celtics team in the final period, 20-17, per StatMuse. And as expected, a large comeback win over the NBA’s leading team had the basketball community going crazy.

Among those who witnessed the stunning feat in the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse was Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Following the game, Kelce couldn’t help but be hyped for the Cavs forward. (clip via NBA)

X (Twitter) users also had a ton of reactions to Wade’s heroics. Of course, it primarily consisted of happy Cavs fans and gloomy Celtics supporters.

Interestingly, Wade’s historic fourth quarter comes just a week after Max Strus pulled off something similar on the Dallas Mavericks.

What’s even more impressive about Wade and the Cavs’ performance was how they stunned the Celtics without Donovan Mitchell and Max Strus.

Wade finished with a career-high 23 points, to go with eight rebounds and a plus/minus rating of 16. Jarrett Allen followed with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds while Darius Garland and Isaac Okoro both contributed 16 points apiece for the Cavs.

For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum finished with 26 points and 13 rebounds.

Dean Wade and the Cavs are currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 40-21 record. They’ll look to add another win as they face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
